As I mentioned last week I’m going on a whole new brand trajectory.
From design sprints to hiring, it’s new. And well, it’s hard to deny, that for me, that is quite exhilarating.
3 espresso’s for sure. Hourly.
I love it.
(Don’t know about my colleagues though.🤷🏻♀️)
Now, having the basics right is one thing. Challenging your business model(s) is a whole different ball game.
So, in stead of taking a look at the most known & shiny business model examples for inspiration, I decided to get my nose into hidden ones.
Hidden ones? Yes.
But how do you find those? Good question.
Do you know the company that produces your dog leash?
Well, they’re doing quite a good job with making over 3.5 Billion last year alone.
These hidden champions seem to stay on the down low being more profitable & more agile than their not-so-hidden counterparts.
Can’t deny I love the idea.
Now, combining that knowledge.
Yes, there’s a great book about it:
Hidden Champions of the 21st Century. Success strategies of Unknown World Market Leaders.
Together with Breeding Gazelles by Dan Bradbury makes me wish I could time travel. In the future of course, because they’re injected in the strategic plan that I can’t wait to see unfold. 🙂
Last, but not least, I’m really enjoying reading about the stoics and their philosophy.
Life gets quite relaxed and easygoing once you step into their shoes. This book has 1 little message for every day (5-10 lines) that challenges you to think about the art of living.
If you want to discuss this in person, definitely drop by at The Growth Conference this Thursday.
You can still use #growfaster for a discount. I’m looking forward as I’ll be surrounded by some really cool speakers.
Epic week I tell ya.
Rise & Shine!
